The Lens employs a UD Element along with two spherical elements creating aberration-free imagery.
Furthermore, Spectra Coating assists in further helping to reduce ghosting, and flaring.
You will be able to make use of a customizable Control Ring for either manual focus, or a programmable setting.
Due to the lead Screw-Type, STM (Stepping Motor) autofocus will be smooth and quiet, this is ideal for still as well as video applications.
Additionally, the Lens has an Optical Image Stabilizer that will compensate for up to 4.5 stops of camera shake, or up to 6.5 stops with Coordinated IS when paired with a compatible camera.
