The Polaroid Now Generation 3 Purple starter set is Polaroid’s everyday point-and-shoot for i-Type and 600 film. Generation 3 improves the two-zone autofocus lens and colour accuracy, so portraits and landscapes come out sharper with less effort.

This is the Starter Set, which pairs the Polaroid Now Generation 3 with a pack of Polaroid Color i-Type Film so you can shoot from day one.

Why choose the Polaroid Now Generation 3 Purple starter set

• Film type: Polaroid i-Type and 600 film
• Lens: Coated optical-grade PC and acrylic lens
• Focus: Autofocus with two zones (0.4–1.3 m and 1.0 m–infinity)
• Aperture: Six usable apertures, f/11 to f/64
• Shutter: Custom shutter system with precision step motor
• Field of view: 40° horizontal, 41° vertical

Load a pack of Polaroid i-Type and 600 film, point and press the shutter and the Polaroid Now Generation 3 ejects a photo that develops in your hand within minutes. Because every print is a one-off, it is ideal for weddings, birthdays, travel journals and gifts. Pair your Polaroid Now Generation 3 Purple starter set with spare film and a strap or bag from our Polaroid range at Lens & Living.

Getting great results with the Polaroid Now Generation 3 Purple starter set

Instant film loves light. Shoot outdoors or near a window when you can, keep the flash on indoors, and stand at least 40 cm from your subject for sharp portraits. Shield each photo from light as it ejects and let it develop face down for the first few minutes. Keep the battery charged over USB between shoots, and store spare film in the fridge so colours stay true.
