A universal brass double-ended 16mm baby stud. One end carries a 3/8″-16 male thread, the other a 1/4″-20 male thread. Brass helps resist corrosion.

Drop it into any 16mm (5/8″) receiver — a stand top, grip head or Convi clamp (Super clamp) — and it presents a threaded stud for a camera, monitor, small light or accessory. Either end seats in the receiver, so you choose which thread faces up by which way round you fit it.
